Welcome to ErlenBach Jewelry! Every design you see in the collection is my own original and I personally handcraft each piece. No two pieces are identical. Every designer has a personal philosophy which guides her work. Mine moves me to observe the repeating patterns found in nature; chevron patterns in pine and fern leaves, spiraling sprigs on a thistle, petals of a rose in a widening circle. When designing jewelry, I keep in mind the natural principles of good design; line, shape, color and texture are foremost. Secondary are balance, contrast, focal point, proportion, mood, symmetry, asymmetry, and function. For me, there is endless inspiration for design in the natural environment! In these fast paced times of high technology and mass manufactured goods, I attempt to slow the pace by creating organically inspired pieces that are in step with the quiet harmony of nature.
